The client testimonial is probably the most powerful business development weapon in your arsenal. Actual clients testifying to your good work? What could be better?

A close second might be a simple roster of impressive client names. Research that I’ve seen consistently indicates that good clients are attracted to firms that have other respected brands and clients. Having a solid client list demonstrates that your firm is a proven entity.

So why don’t more independent practitioners publicly share their client lists? There are two reasons.
