For Some Independents, the Check’s Not Always in the Mail

For independents, the conventional and still most common means for payment is to submit an invoice to the client and expect a check to come in the mail according to the terms of the agreement.

But some independents are finding that certain clients like the convenience of paying via PayPal or with a credit card, and have set up systems to accommodate.
