Brands from Merriam-Webster to The Washington Post are snapping up Peach, the latest social networking app, according to Digiday. The app combines elements of messaging app Slack with a Facebook Messenger-like interface.

Digiday wrote that the quick onboarding is surprising, as most brands are stretched for resources — especially in social and digital — so staffing for new platforms is frequently cited as a major challenge for companies, regardless of size.
