Stop the Job-Hopping: The 6 Fundamentals of Millennial Retention

There is little doubt that millennials can bring a valuable perspective to a company. But young people are often looking ahead to their next job, anxious to move up the corporate ladder. What is it about an employer that encourages younger employees to remain loyal and allows them to understand their worth?

To find out, my colleagues at the University of Oregon, Pat Curtin and Kelli Matthews, and I conducted a nationwide study about millennials in PR agencies through a survey and five asynchronous online discussion groups, via Focus Forums, with 51 participants.

Here are the six fundamentals of retaining talented millennial employees based on our qualitative research, which Public Relations Review first published.
