So what does it take to become the next communicator?

Jeffrey A. Ranta, an instructor and student agency director at The Carolina Agency at the University of South Carolina, asked ESPN’s top communicator this question.

This past summer, Ranta spent two weeks at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Conn., on a Plank Center Educator Fellowship. While there, Ranta spent time with Chris LaPlaca, senior vice president for corporate communications at ESPN, who shared his thoughts on the new rules for communicators.
