Nominating Committee picks Board slate for 2012

The PRSA Nominating Committee has announced its nominees for PRSA’s 2012 leadership positions.
Completing the nomination process, the committee, led by 2009 PRSA Chair and CEO Michael G. Cherenson, APR, Fellow PRSA, selected 11 candidates for officer, open board and Assembly Delegate-at-Large Positions. The nominees will stand for election by a vote of the PRSA Leadership Assembly Oct. 15 at the PRSA 2011 International Conference in Orlando, Fla. 
The nominees for 2012 officer positions are: chair-elect, Mickey G. Nall, APR, Fellow PRSA, managing director, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Atlanta; treasurer, Kathy Barbour, APR, communications manager, Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Fla.; and secretary, David C. Rickey, APR, senior vice president, communications, Birmingham Business Alliance, Birmingham, Ala.
The committee also nominated eight individuals for open PRSA Board of Directors and PRSA Assembly-at-Large positions, as follows:

Jane E. Dvorak, APR, Fellow PRSA, president, JKD & Company Inc., Lakewood, Colo. 
Director, At-Large
Diane Gage Lofgren, APR, Fellow PRSA, senior vice president, brand strategy, communications and public relations, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Oakland, Calif.
Director, At-Large
Mark W. McClennan, APR, senior vice president, Schwartz Communications Inc., Waltham, Mass.
Director, At-Large
Elizabeth A. Pecsi, APR, Fellow PRSA, director, executive communications, Unisys Corp., El Cajon, Calif.
Assembly Delegates-at-Large
Janet C. Hart, CFEE, APR, vice president, public relations and communications, Better Business Bureau of Southern Piedmont, Charlotte, N.C.
Kurt A. Wise, Ph.D., APR, associate professor and chair, public relations department, Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn.
International Assembly Delegates-at-Large

Rounding out the roster of PRSA leaders are the incumbent members of the Board, including:
