Annual Media Predicts Signature Event

Touted as the must-attend Silicon Valley PR event of the year,this gala signature event is where media luminaries are honored for their contributions over the past year. Attendees will hear important insights on the coming year and will have the advantage of being first to know about what top media luminaries, trend watchers, and chroniclers are betting will be the hottest technologies, topics and trends. Held at the end of each year.

Inside the Newsroom Series

This popular quarterly event series offers an inside look into the workings of the most respected newsrooms. Bringing together the leading voices of technology news to take a peek behind the curtain of the most successful media organizations. Often provocative, and typically populated by the most talented professionals in and around Silicon Valley, these events are designed to spur lively discussions. The event committee strives to identify topics, speakers and themes that have appeal to the technology industry yet have relevance for other industries such as bio-tech, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, etc. that occupy an important place in the Valley economy. 

Networking Events

Network with your peers and expand your circle of colleagues and contacts at these fun and lively networking mixers. Our goal is to offer a friendly and relaxed networking environment. A variety of free gourmet appetizers, beer, wines and soft drinks are featured at most events.

Networking events are typically held at PR agencies throughout Silicon Valley. We also have at least one joint mixer with the PRSA San Francisco Chapter, and have held an "Annual San Jose Giants Baseball Game" event sometime in June - early summer.

Professional Development Workshops + Seminars

Continuous improvement is essential for the fast changing world of public relations, whether you’re just entering the field or you’re a seasoned veteran.  The Professional Development Committee is seeking volunteers to help develop, market and execute professional development events, including identifying issues, arranging speakers, coordinating event and site logistics, and promoting workshops.
