Patrick Ford

Patrick Ford is a corporate reputation and issues management specialist with 30+ years of communications experience. He has consulted a wide range of clients on corporate positioning, crisis and issues management, media relations, labor relations and ally development. Since joining Burson-Marsteller in 1989, Ford has served as a senior managing director in Burson-Marsteller’s Public Affairs Practice, chairman of the Corporate-Financial Practice, and from 2006–2011, as president and CEO of Burson-Marsteller U.S. Before joining Burson-Marsteller, he served as vice president for public affairs at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research in Washington, D.C. Before AEI, he was a public affairs specialist at Wagner & Baroody, managing the Media Operations Center at the 1984 Republican National Convention. He began as a reporter for The Jersey Journal, Jersey City, New Jersey. He also served as New Jersey correspondent for Reuters. Ford serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Public Relations, the Board of Directors of the LAGRANT Foundation and the Advisory Board of the Scripps Howard School at Howard University.
