Don Beck, Ph.D.

Beck has more than 25 years of survey research, and brand and marketing experience supporting a wide variety of private and public sector clients. He has designed, led or evaluated branding and market research programs for the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Energy, Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Social Security Administration and the General Services Administration. His private sector clients have included Citibank, Wells Fargo, Microsoft and Micron. He specializes in the use of customer survey research to guide brand and marketing campaigns. He is an expert in stakeholder analysis, survey research, social network analysis and communication strategy. Working with Wells Fargo, he was responsible for interviewing and tracking more 50,000 customer interviews a month. Based on customer reactions to new financial product and service lines, he developed recommendations for advertising campaigns. He also developed training to help Wells Fargo brand managers interpret and use customer feedback.
