Category: Communication Strategy

How can you move an idea from “dilemma” to “done,” especially when members of the group come to the table with different perspectives? Veteran PR professionals Merrie Meyers, Ph.D., APR, Fellow PRSA, principal, Merrie Meyers Public Relations LLC, and Patrick M. McNellis, director, operations, McNellis Associates, will discuss how Compression Planning (CP) can take a diverse group from the idea to the outcome, as well as the items you need to create your own CP process. You’ll gain practical, hands-on experience to help you solve actual business problems.

You’ll also learn:

  • A constructive and targeted planning process to churn ideas beyond brainstorming into specific strategies and tactics.
  • Specific strategies for exploring ideas and focusing on solutions, as well as guidelines for engaging in both processes and determining when each should occur.
  • How to “lay out” concepts in a visual format to gain greater understanding and support.
