Last November, 5-year-old Miles Scott, aka Batkid, rode in a donated “Batmobile” as he rescued a damsel in distress, vanquished The Riddler and saved the San Francisco Giants’ mascot, Lou Seal, while streets packed with thousands cheered him on.

This new superhero captured the fascination of people across the world — and the Internet.
