This October, PRSSA celebrates its 40th anniversary as it returns to Philadelphia, the city where it was created, to convene its 2007 National Conference.

As will those attending this year’s Conference, thousands of students have benefited from the PRSSA’s mentoring, professional development and networking opportunities. Local, regional and national events have helped students find jobs, and attention from PRSA members has given students chances to learn from the best in the PR profession, fulfilling the hopes of those who first suggested creating a student organization in 1950.
