Diversity and Inclusion Survey Underway

PRSA has embarked on a comprehensive diversity and inclusion study, the results of which will inform our planning for future programs, outreach initiatives and member recruitment.

We recently conducted interviews with select Chapter leaders, and focus groups will take place at a number of our District conferences. The first group met at the recent Western District event in Phoenix and the early feedback has been incredibly beneficial to the organization.

2020 Board of Directors Applicant Process Complete

Nine PRSA members submitted applications for Executive Officer positions to the 2020 Board of Directors, and 22 members submitted applications for Director positions to the 2019 Nominating Committee for review and consideration.

The Board of Directors will choose nominees for open Executive Officer positions during its meeting in New York on June 8.

Meanwhile, the Committee will select nominees for open Director positions during its June 22-23 meeting in New York.

The nominees, along with any petitioned candidates, will appear for a vote before the PRSA Leadership Assembly in San Diego on Oct. 19, prior to the PRSA 2019 International Conference.
