Habitat for Humanity
Position: Graphic Designer, Full Time, Memphis, TN
Salary Range: Starting at $36,600

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the implementation of design solutions that will support Habitatfor Humanity of Greater Memphis (HFHGM) and Memphis ReStore’s marketing strategies andorganizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities
> Execute design solutions, from concept to completion, in a wide range of graphic applications including collateral materials, environmental graphics, brand identity, wearables, packaging, video titling, social media communications, website development/maintenance and multimedia interfaces and tools
> Define design criteria; develop concepts in conjunction with staff, and direct and task jobs to completion
> Interact with internal and external audiences for job specifications, proofing and follow-up on jobs? Interact with vendors in requesting estimates, assigning and following up on jobs and seeing them through to completion.
> Serves as primary photographer, maintains photo files – cataloging and creating a database for this – and fulfills or assists fulfilling photo requests from other staff
> Assists in managing the strategic social media presence for Memphis Habitat, Memphis ReStore and Habitat events.

Qualifications/Work Experience
> Undergraduate degree in graphic design preferred. A minimum of an associate degree in design or commensurate work experience in the related field may be considered.
> Minimum one year of experience with graphic design, brand management or marketing preferred.Experience in design for print, web, indoor/outdoor signage and promotional products ideal.
> Nonprofit/fundraising or agency experience a plus
> Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud
> Experience with email service providers (iContact, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.) preferred
> Audio/video editing and DSLR photography/videography skills desired
> Experience in web design or management a plus
> Must be willing to work some nights and weekends for special events and Habitat builds

Development Coordinator

Job description

Duties: Under the supervision of the Development Manager, the Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for fundraising, development and volunteer activities for the agency. Coordinate annual direct mail campaign, maintain and update donor database; research donor prospects, helps to secure in-kind donations and other development activities as needed.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field. 5 years experience working in public relations and/or fundraising. Excellent research and computer skills needed. Ability to manage several complex projects and proposals simultaneously with strict deadline pressure.
