IPA: Connecting Indies Across the Country

PRSA’s Independent Practitioners Alliance Section is a strong national network of more than 200 solo practitioners who benefit from best practices, strategies and professional development programming, including:

12/60 teleseminars

Monthly 60-minute teleseminars designed by indies for indies, focusing on the business challenges members regularly face

Networking opportunities

Indie meetups at the PRSA International Conference, District and Section Conferences, and other association meetings, workshops and events

National billing/rates survey

Each year, IPA conducts a national billing/rates survey to help members evaluate their business practices and grow their practices

Business mentors

Experienced pros are available to mentor newly independent practitioners and prospective members who are considering establishing their own indie practices

Online forum and social media

The MyPRSA Community and social media channels connect members and allow us to share best practices, refer business prospects and identify opportunities for collaboration

Business document library

Access to a variety of templates for contracts, invoices, engagement letters and other critical business documents
