Ally Dorrough
Born and raised in Montgomery, Ala., Ally Dorrough received her bachelor's degree in public relations at Auburn University in 2011. Since 2013, Ally has served as Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism's PR coordinator, in which she is responsible for the CVB's media monitoring, all sports commission and meetings PR efforts, PR professional development workshop, media clip entry/reporting, media interview coordination/assistance, press trip assistance and more. She serves on the PRSA Alabama Board of Directors as the PRSSA liaison to the University of South Alabama and recently completed the Southeast Tourism Society three-year Travel Marketing Professional program.

Angela Cavis
Angela develops and manages strategic public relations programs with a focus on national media initiatives, brand-strategic partnerships and promotions, influencer programs and special events for travel brands at as vice president at NJF PR. She centers client programs on reaching key markets and media outlets with audiences that align with the brand’s target consumer, promoting all aspects of the brand to increase awareness. Her integrated approach and understanding of all marketing channels results in the development of strategic programs and campaigns that take a holistic view of client’s business and drives measurable results. Angela leads the PR account teams for the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, CheapCaribbean.com, Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection, Bahia Principe Hotels, Regent Hotels and NH Hotel Group, among others. Prior to NJF, Angela spent the majority of her career in the Travel & Lifestyle Practice at Weber Shandwick where she specialized in working with tourism boards for The Bahamas, New Orleans, Michigan, Hilton Head Island and Beverly Hills. She was also the account lead for the launch of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, developing and executing the media relations strategy and managing the grand opening week with more than 150 journalists in attendance for red carpet events, including crews for The TODAY Show and Good Morning America.

Jaclyn Slifer
As area director of public relations for Loews Hotels, Jaclyn Slifer oversees all PR for the brand’s hotels in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Jaclyn joined Loews Hotels in 2014, as public relations manager for Loews Hollywood and her role quickly expanded to include Loews Santa Monica Beach and Loews Regency San Francisco. Prior to Loews Hotels, Jaclyn was with Los Angeles PR agency Murphy O'Brien, where she worked with the Nicaraguan Tourism Board and various properties from the Auberge Resorts, Four Seasons, Omni, KSL, Marriott Autograph and Hilton portfolios. Jaclyn is originally from the Bay Area and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in global studies. She is an avid traveler, having been to more than 20 countries.
