It's quite common for PR programs at colleges and universities to turn to seasoned local practitioners as part-time professors — and in some cases, as full-time faculty. They're sought because of their professional PR expertise, the assumption being that if you can do it, you can teach it.
However, it's not that easy. There's a lot more to teaching than telling "war stories," and this workshop will explore the ins and outs of teaching through a combination of interactive exercises and discussions.
