Stabilizing Urban Neighborhoods: A Unique Foreclosure Prevention Initiative

Professional Development Workshop Set 1

Your Session ROI

The Stabilizing Urban Neighborhoods (SUN) Initiative of Boston Community Capital (BCC), a community development financial institution, works to stabilize and revitalize low-income neighborhoods. The program stops the displacement of families before evictions occur and prevents neighborhood destabilization caused by vacant and abandoned properties. Hear from Sandy Bodner, principal, Sandy Bodner Strategic Communications LLC, and Elyse Cherry, CEO, Boston Community Capital, about how the SUN Initiative helped halt the foreclosure of 225 Massachusetts homeowners.
